Shortest check interval
All probe-based types can be checked every 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day. The shortest interval you can pick is the larger of your plan's fastest check and the limit for the type. The form greys out intervals your plan does not allow.
| Type | Shortest interval |
|---|---|
| Website, API, Ping, Port, IP | 1 minute (Free plan: 5 minutes) |
| DNS | 5 minutes |
| SSL certificate | 1 hour |
| Domain expiry | Fixed: once a day |
| Heartbeat | Not a check: you choose how often the job pings, from 1 minute to 24 hours |
| Logs | Evaluated every minute |
Settings every probe type shares
- Check from. Where the probes run. The number of regions depends on your plan.
- Alert after. How many failed checks in a row before you are alerted (1 to 5).
- Advanced. Timeout (1 to 60 seconds) and retries on failure (0 to 3).
The limits above are the built-in plan defaults. If your plan was changed, the form shows what applies to you.
