TRUST & INFORMATION

Terms.
Clear expectations.

Sample terms for the use of a monitoring workspace.

Sample document · Not finalized

Prepared for review at the operator’s request. Example operator: Uptiva. Example contact: info@uptiva.example (not an active mailbox). Country and legal entity: to be confirmed. No effective date has been adopted.

Status of this document

These are sample terms for review, not a finalized contract. Uptiva, info@uptiva.example and the operator details are placeholders. The legal operator and governing jurisdiction have not been supplied.

Using the service

Use the service only for systems you own or are authorized to monitor. Do not use probes, API calls, notification channels or ingestion endpoints to abuse other services, bypass access controls or collect data unlawfully.

Your account and credentials

Keep account access, API keys, host tokens, log tokens and heartbeat addresses secure. Give team members appropriate access and revoke credentials when they are no longer needed.

Plans and payments

Features, quotas and intervals depend on the selected plan. The final agreement must describe billing, renewals, cancellation, refunds and taxes using the operator’s actual commercial terms. No refund or service-credit promise is created by this sample.

Monitoring limits

A monitor checks a specific condition and is not a guarantee of continuous availability or detection of every failure. Validate your own backup, incident response and recovery procedures. Public status updates and alert delivery also depend on configuration and external systems.

Content and data

You are responsible for the targets, logs, metrics and public updates you submit. Keep sensitive data out of telemetry where it is not needed and use appropriate permissions for shared information.

Suspension and termination

The final terms must define grounds for suspension, notice, account termination and the handling of remaining data. Contact Support for current account questions.

Liability and governing law

Liability limits, warranties, dispute resolution and governing law require operator and legal review. No arbitrary jurisdiction or monetary limit is asserted in this draft.
